St. Andrews 2000 Golf Course was the second built of the three 18-hole courses that make up the recently renamed Barcelona Valley in Rayong.

The golf course offers an uncompromising challenge aimed at players with handicaps of 18 or lower. At over 7700 yards playing to par 74 this is a tough course. St Andrews is built on a spectacular, undulating natural topography and features elevated tees and greens, tight landing zones, split elevation fairways, huge putting surfaces and while difficult to accept for the true golfer, two par 6s, over 1600 yards between them! The back nine in particular has large elevation changes and views of the surrounding hillsides.

The course demands a combination of both power and accuracy, with the strategic positioning of hazards forcing the player to remain focused on each and every shot. Even one errant shot can be very costly. This Pattaya golf course requires the use of every club and also will be the subject of lots of stories about a challenging round of golf. Bring lots of golf balls and a camera, and expect to be humbled by this course.

The clubhouse facilities are shared with the Green Valley and Silky Oaks courses that make up Barcelona Valley. The locker rooms are not fancy but adequate, although sometimes there is a wait for a shower if all three courses are busy. There are many independently run restaurants in the building serving different national dishes.
