Rayong Green Valley is the oldest of the three 18-hole courses that make up the recently renamed Barcelona Valley in Rayong. Built on the side of a gentle hill, it uses the large rocky outcrops, boulders, cacti, and other native fauna in the local terrain to form a traditional Thai layout. Bunkers have been placed intelligently, inviting an excellent golfer to drive over them, while shorter hitters have plenty of room for a layup.

Green Valley is one of Pattaya’s best walking courses. The gently undulating fairways in this peaceful setting allow those who prefer exercise to enjoy golf at its best. The greens are slightly elevated, many with false fronts, and vary in size from large to small – all with subtle undulations.

This traditional Thai design parkland course is mature, well-kept, and reasonably priced. The clubhouse facilities are shared with the St. Andrews and Silky Oaks courses that make up Barcelona Valley. The locker rooms are not fancy but adequate, although sometimes there is a wait for a shower if all three courses are busy. There are many independently run restaurants in the building serving different national dishes.
