The Emerald Golf Course is a real Thai countryside golf course, named Ban Chang initially and then Rayong Century Golf Club, the course is nestled in the foothills of the mountains outside Rayong.

Emerald is a veritable work of art by two well-known golf architects. The 18-hole design weaves through the pristine rainforest of mature trees that still provide sanctuary to various native birds. The gentle yet beautiful contours of the fairways, the volcanic-like greens, challenging par-3s, and the subtle water placements make the Emerald one of the most challenging golf courses in Thailand. Unlike many other Pattaya courses, driving accuracy is favoured over length as there is a considerable premium gained by hitting the fairways.

Basic locker room facilities and showers are available and the open-air restaurant provides a pleasant ambience after the game. While not as famous as other Pattaya golf courses, the excellent scenery, and reasonable green fee rates make the Emerald Golf Club a good choice for any Pattaya golfer.
